About John Moritz

John Moritz received a B.S. and M.S. in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri-Rolla (UMR). He joined Olin Corporation in 1977 as an Industrial Engineer assigned to the Metals Division. He has spent 32 years with the Company, holding many positions including Production Control Manager, General Manager of Somers Thin Strip in Connecticut, Olin Corporate Director of Planning, and Interim Financial Officer for Olin Brass. In his current position he is responsible for strategic planning, IT functions, and all of Global Brass international operations. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Olin-Luotong Metals in Guangzhou, China, and a board member of DOWA-Olin Metals in Hamamatsu, Japan.
