About Henry Wiebe

Dr. Henry A. Wiebe is Vice Provost of Global Learning at Missouri University of Science and Technology. His previous positions include Dean of the School of Extended Learning, Chair of the Engineering Management Department and a member of the faculty.

He was elected as a Fellow of the American Society for Engineering Management in 1993 and has served as President of the organization. In addition, he is a former Associate Editor of the Engineering Management Journal, past member of the Editorial Board of the Engineering Design and Automation Journal and a past Senior Examiner for the Missouri Quality Award. Dr. Wiebe has authored or co-authored numerous articles and conference presentations during his academic career. His industrial experience prior to joining UMR in 1970 was with ATT and Northern Natural Gas Company.

In addition to his Missouri S&T responsibilities, Dr. Wiebe serves on the Varsity M Board of Directors, an association of former athletes dedicated to promoting academic and athletic excellence among student athletes at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
